Alder & Main Realty is a Winnipeg real estate website. Its promise: “Helping Winnipeg buyers and sellers find the right move, with honest advice at every step.”
The gap
Realtors build up years of local knowledge, but a brokerage profile page looks like every other agent’s.

Choices and reasons
- Colour
- Near-black and white, because the photos of Winnipeg should be the first thing people notice.
- Type
- Montserrat with wide letter-spacing, because it feels like a printed feature listing.
- Mark
- No symbol, only ALDER & MAIN in wide capitals, so it matches the headlines.
- Layout and motion
- Plenty of white space and slow text reveals, because buying a home is one of the biggest decisions people make.
- Copy
- Calm and modest, with no awards or big claims, because a realtor has to be able to back up everything they say.

We set up Payload CMS so the home page and articles can be edited from a dashboard.
